should I disregard Perl only because it automatically flattens arrays specified in list context. Certainly not.

- a link to a lot of cgi scripts written in perl
- for beginners the mother of all cgi scripts.

What about Python then : citing the same source "Python has the fewest functions of all and is the easiest language to learn".
Lets have a look then, shall we...
Also, we had this discussion, if not argument ;-) , about the merits of php.
Apparently it is not as fast as its authors claim it to be.
